What to Expect on Test Day at an International Pearson VUE Centre

Taking the UCAT at an international Pearson VUE centre is functionally identical to taking it at a UK centre — the test software, question formats, and timing are the same globally. However, there are practical differences for international test-takers that are worth knowing in advance:

Identification requirements: You must bring a valid passport to your test appointment. Other forms of ID (national ID cards, school ID) are not accepted at Pearson VUE centres. Ensure your passport is valid and bring it in person.
No belongings in the testing room: Mobile phones, bags, notes, and jewellery are typically not permitted. Lockers are provided at most centres. Some centres permit analogue watches; digital watches are prohibited at all centres.
Scratch paper and pencil: Provided by the test centre for rough working. You cannot bring your own. Return all scratch materials before leaving.
