After joining, tutors are continuously reviewed through lesson recordings, parent feedback, and student progress data. We re-assess and part ways with any tutor whose results or communication falls below standard — regardless of how long they've been with us.
Plenty of people got an A* in Maths. Very few can make a struggling Year 11 student understand quadratics in 20 minutes. We only hire the latter.
We don't just check degrees — we probe understanding. Our knowledge tests expose gaps that a good CV can hide. Tutors who can only teach to the exam can't help when a student asks “but why?”
We watch every prospective tutor explain a genuinely hard concept under pressure. Can they read when a student is confused? Do they adapt their language? Can they find another way in? That's what we're hiring for.

We record lessons (with consent), track progress against targets, and collect structured parent feedback. If a tutor's results plateau, we investigate and act. Academic accountability is non-negotiable.

We speak with you and, where appropriate, your child. We ask about their learning style, current gaps, exam targets, schedule, and what's been tried before.
We match from our verified roster based on subject specialism, personality fit, exam board experience, and availability. We typically present 1–2 candidates.
We facilitate a brief introduction call before the first lesson, so your child arrives comfortable. The first session is a structured diagnostic — the tutor builds a baseline picture.
After the first lesson we check in with you. If the fit is perfect, we continue. If anything feels off, we rematch immediately — no awkwardness, no charge.
